NCB Recognise Two New Awards For 2011 OSCAs

The Nottinghamshire Cricket Board are seeking nominations for the 2011 NatWest OSCAs.

The winners will be announced at the Nottinghamshire OSCAs Evening at Trent Bridge on the 15 September, with the winners being invited to a national OSCAs evening held at Lords.

The NatWest OSCAs (Outstanding Service to Cricket Awards) are aimed at recognising those volunteers who give so much of their time to the game of cricket.

Officiating – Umpires And Scorers

This award is looking for an official who has visibly increased the quantity of officials in their County and therefore help the sustainability of cricket in England and Wales.

Behind the Scenes

This award is looking for someone invisible who your club couldn’t do without.

Building Partnerships

This award is looking for an individual or organisation who has created sustainable partnerships with schools, voluntary organisations, other sports and/or the local community.

Leagues and Boards

This award is looking for dedication with results. This can be an individual or group

Lifetime Achiever

This award is looking for an individual who has made an outstanding difference to cricket for a sustained period

NatWest CricketForce

This award is looking for a volunteer or group of volunteers who have made an outstanding contribution to the 2010 event.

Young Volunteer

This award is looking for a volunteer aged between 16-25 years old who has made a positive impact on their Club, group or organisation. 
 
Two new categories for the Nottinghamshire Cricket Board OSCAs (please note these are only local awards to Nottinghamshire)

 

Services to Women and Girls Cricket

This award is for someone who has made a significant contribution to the development of Women and Girls Cricket.

Services to Disability Cricket

This award is for someone who has made a significant contribution to the development of Disability Cricket.
 

Completed nomiation forms need to be emailed to chloe.gibson@nottsccc.co.uk or sent to Chloe Gibson, OSCAs 2011, Nottinghamshire COunty Cricket Club, Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, Nottinghamshire, NG2 6AG. 

The closing date for nominations is Monday 1 July 2011
