Godrich goes on the attack

Wollaton's James Godrich took his good form from the Notts Premier to Division Three of the Newark Alliance and destroyed Fiskerton's bowling attack to smash 172 not out.

Along with another great century by youngster Alex King (109), it helped Wollaton (338-3) comfortably hold off Fiskerton (214- 9), who also had Max Danby (104) in top form.

Clumber Park's Gareth Beard also reached three figures as he steered Clumber to an impressive win at Radcliffe-On-Trent. Chasing 254 to win, only Rob Sutton (44) threatened to make it close as Radcliffe made 167.

In Division Four, Claypole beat local rivals Farndon by seven wickets thanks to Farndon old-boy Steven Ryder, who blazed 18 boundaries before getting bowled one run short of a maiden century by Claypole old-boy Dave Nixon.
