Wilks in the runs for the second week running
James Wilks was in the runs again for Sutton Bonington in Division Six of the Newark Alliance.
For the second week running he carried his bat, hitting another 135 in the process. Wilsons (173) fell 42 short of the target.
Reigning Division One Champions Sleaford moved off the bottom after registering their first win of the season at Collingham (141-9). Paul Roberts (59*) saw the visitors home by five wickets.
Gedling Colliery kept their 100 per cent record, despite 120 from Madni's Gurpej Landa.
Geoff Burton's 84 not out saw Gedling Colliery ease home with seven wickets in hand.
In Division Two, Ellerslie made it four out of four after comfortably chasing down Notts & Arnold's 143-9. Simon George made 58 and Rudi Charlesworth took 4-16 to keep Ellerslie on top.
Rolls-Royce Leisure look to be the team to beat in Division Five after beating Collingham II (121). Half centuries from Waseem Karim (60) and Alan Pearson (60*) helped set a run-a-ball target that Daniel Upson (5-14) soon set about
making impossible.
After registering totals of just 46 and 43 on the previous two Sundays, Lambley Village turned the form book on its head in beating co-leaders Wollaton II by 230 runs. Jordan Whitehead blazed a maiden century (104) to lead the previously misfiring hosts to a club record 40-over total of 324-9 to claim their first win of the season.
There was another maiden century at Goosedale as Bada Digwa's thrilling innings won the Division Six match for Rainbow against Notts & Arnold II.
New boys Shipley Hall made their bow and had David Robinson to thank for making it a winning one as he blasted 143 in a 54-run triumph at Long Eaton II (160-7).
