It's A Sign Of The Times At Cuckney

A very different type of show will be presented to the Bassetlaw Umpires' Association on Saturday at Cuckney Cricket Club, Langwith Road (2.30pm).

Geoff Wellsteed, from the Wirral, and Anthony Collis, from Stourbridge, have written a book on the subject of cricket-related pub signs.

The book has been nominated for the MCC Society book of the year award and has won an excellence award from the Cricket Memorabilia Society.

The presentation is in two halves and the whole show has been a massive success at local cricket societies at places such as Sheffield, Lincoln, Wombwell and Stourbridge.
